    Can I get SSDI if I have not worked in the last 10 years?

    CAN YOU GET DISABILITY IF YOU HAVEN'T WORKED IN THE PAST TEN YEAR'S?

    Probably not. Why? Because even if you had enough work credits to get SSDI benefits in the past most likely you are no longer insured. Your options are to go back to work or see if you qualify for SSI benefits.
