What is Medical Reports?

Definition of Medical Reports

Medical reports are requested from an acceptable medical sources to validate a claimant has a physical or mental health impairment. Medical reports may include: medical history reports, laboratory results, diagnosis, progress notes, radiological reports, clinical findings and residual functional capacity assessment statements or forms. Medical reports are provided to support a claimant's claim of disability. The most beneficial medical reports provide information about a claimant's residual functional capacity and their mental and physical capacity to work.
